Spring Break

We spent a few days in Henrietta on Papa and Grandma's spring break and had lots of fun! This is Matthew with Grandma, Caleb with Mrs. Graves (Emily's Jr. English teacher) and Mrs. Morris (aka Mama Ju, who was Emily's geometry teacher and cheerleader sponsor).

Papa got the boys some Texas ballcaps when he went to Austin.

This is Matthew with Mama Ju. You can tell he is having way too much fun!

Caleb loved this little plastic baseball bat that rattled. He got a little rambunctious and decided to pop Papa in the face!

Grandma with Caleb and Uncle Casey with Matthew; They were on nighttime bottle duty.

Caleb getting snuggles from Grandma...

Uncle Casey playing games with Cabers...

Matthew giving his Momma that puppy dog look...

First trip to the zoo...

The boys and I took our first trip to the zoo with some friends a few weeks ago. It was really fun and the boys loved being outside strolling around. They are too young to really appreciate the animals, but they still seemed to really enjoy it.

Momma and her boys taking a little break!
The best part is that they konked out at the end of the morning and took the best nap!

Bates Hair

This is Tim checking in here for a quick update on the current state of our children's hair and their attitude. Emily will provide a more detailed post of a recent trip we went on with our parents, but I thought it pertinent to post these pictures immediately due to how incredibly funny I thought they were.

Look at Mr. Cool here with the shades on and his "I just got out of my "hot wheels" convertible" hair.

This is how Matthew was taking his bottles on the trip!!

I think Caleb must be wiping the hair gel off his hands because there is no way that his hair could do that naturally.

I think Matthew is primed and ready to take over Glendarroch Homes. He brings new meaning to the phrase "business casual" with a full suit on and Joe Cool sunglasses that he wears indoors.

Mom and Dad Time...

This is Matthew playing with the paper thingy that his socks came on. I took it away from him because he started to get some of the paper in his mouth and here is what happened below (this is pretty standard by the way :))

I see this face a lot, especially now that he is into EVERYTHING!!! It's pretty priceless, though!!!

Mommy with Choochy who is "ALL SMILES." I love it when Matthew smiles because his whole face lights up and you can see his bottom two teeth now. You can't help but smile right back at him!

Cabers' hair cracks us up every morning..this is fresh out of bed hair!

Our sweet Caleb...he had carrots that morning. Can you tell from his nose?!

Matchy, matchy...

Jennifer (my sister-in-law) and I went to Southlake recently to do some shopping. Before we left, I bundled up the boys for what turned out to be a cold, rainy day in DFW. But, they were super cute in their hats and fleece sweaters.
Matthew loves to "pat" everything...including Caleb's face. Caleb is really sweet about it and doesn't seem to mind.

Caleb had just made a "sputter" sound and it made Chooch laugh really hard.

There's Cabers with his infamous "deer in the headlights" look and Matthew is just hanging out playing...

Homemade packages in the mail...

We received a really sweet package from Matthew and Caleb's Aunt Bonnie, Uncle Wally, Wally, Heather, and Bridget. The boys loved their stuff so much!!! This is Caleb's teddy bear handstitched by Heather just for him...

Matthew was very proud of his, too.

They also got homemade blankets and teddy bears, too...Caleb just wanted to eat the teddy bear's shoe! We have such great family support from all over as you can tell!
