Frosty Pics...

Daddy teaching Chooch to eat snow...
Poor Cabers...he was sick during the snow with a stomach bug and stayed in Mommy's arms most of the time we were outside.

We (like everyone else in Ft. Worth) have no winter gear for the boys so we just bundled up in as many layers as we could get on and they wore our gloves and hats...there was lots of laundry to be done that day!

Tim is trying to teach Chooch how to make snowballs. Once he got the hang of it, he LOVED throwing them at Tim!

Fun with Dad...

Snow Day 2010

Here are some pictures of the snow that I took on my camera. I am sure that Emily will upload her pictures of the boys playing in the snow later on. Also, I put a picture of the boys relaxing in their cozy robes trying to warm up after being in the snow.

IDENTICAL TWINS PART II

The four of us are enjoying a relatively peaceful dinner at Macaroni Grill and this middle-aged couple sits down at a table next to us. The woman is staring at us, but I don’t pay much attention until the following dialogue occurs:

Woman: Them there twins ya got?
Tim: Excuse me?
Woman: Are thems twins there?
Emily: Ohhh…yes, they sure are.
Woman: Well, back home I got me some twins too. Course theys grown now. But, they are boy/girl twins so they ain’t identical like yours.
Emily: Oh, well my boys are fraternal. They actually aren’t identical.
Woman: No, see if they are both boys or both girls theys identical. The only way you get the fraternal twins is if they are boy/girl like mine.
Emily: Oh, okay…good to know….
Tim: Emily, let it go……

We get up to leave….the woman now realizes that I am pregnant:

Woman: Oh, ya gotcha nother bun in the oven, huh?
Emily: Yes, I sure do…
Woman: Thems gonna be another set of them twins?
Emily: Nope, just one…
Woman: Wells, I tell ya that ya can’t be too sure with them doctors these days…I betcha have 2 in there.
Emily: Nope, just one…I’ve had several sonograms and they know for sure…
Woman: Can’t be too sure these days…
Several people who are far away have asked me about posting a pic of me pregnant for the blog...so here it is! This was actually taken at 33 weeks and 6 days which is "to the day" how far I got with Matthew and Caleb. We compared pics and there is a HUGE difference, (obviously) carrying two! Can't believe our new little guy will be here soon!

Moo...Neigh....Baaaahh....Oink-Oink....

Well, the boys got to practice all their animal sounds when we took them to the Ft. Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. Friends of ours gave us tickets to a suite at the rodeo right behind the chute where they release the animals (Big thanks to Glen and Pat Bullard!). We had the best time ever! Tim took the afternoon off to go with us and we went to the matinee rodeo, walked around the stock show and hit all the hot spots, and then ended the day at the fair. It was really fun and the boys loved it!
I downloaded these pictures backwards...oops...ANYWAY, this is how our day ended after the rodeo. The weather was beautiful so Daddy grilled hamburgers for the family and we all ate on the backporch together...it was REALLY awesome.
The boys are enjoying a little fair food (nachos :))...

This is a pic of the boys looking at the little chics...so sweet...

Daddy is pointing out how many little piggies there are...

This sweet lady at the rodeo asked us if our boys wanted to become "sheriffs" for the day. Of course we said "yes!" and she pinned on their official badges...

This is a pic of the boys with Elsie, the Borden Milk Cow...

Family pic at the rodeo...

Weather Map

I just looked at http://www.weather.com/ to see how long it was going to snow. I wanted to share with you what the map of the DFW (that's Dallas Fort Worth for your northeners who read the blog!) area looks like right now. Pretty awesome!

Vroom-Vroom!!!

Chooch-muffs...he loves wearing as many layers on his head as possible.

It has become a tradition to get bundled up and take the boys out in the golf cart several times a week. At first they called it the "vroom-vroom" but now Caleb says "ga cart." They absolutely love it and covet spots in Daddy's lap to help "drive."

All bundled up...poor Caleb--his hat is kind of small because his head is like 99th percentile for his age :) Love those chubby cheeks on these two!

This is Caleb helping Mom in the kitchen before dinner time...

Matthew posing for the camera!
About to go bye-bye...
Caleb gets really frustrated because he can't figure out how to put our gloves on by himself :(

More Chooch pics...

This is Caleb's goofy face!!!

Notice Caleb has his GUNS UP...Go Tech!
