Caleb & Tyler at the airport before take off!!! Yes, all 7 kids flew out to Park City and returned home together...the people on our flight were gawking when we all got on board...it went as well as could be expected but I think we were all ready to land at DFW after that flight home!

Trick or Treat!

We had a really fun Halloween with our three boys. We only trick or treated at about 6 houses, but the boys really enjoyed most of it. A few of the costumes were pretty frightening to them, but overall they did well. Of course their favorite part was getting to eat candy which is such a treat! In the video below, it kind of tells the story of our night. First, it begins with the boys first ever "trick or treat." Then, it moves to our living room where Tim explains to the boys how they have to decide which two pieces of candy they want to eat. Then, finally you see what happens after a little sugar in our house....watch out!

A Good Day, No a Great Day with Tyler...

I don't think I've updated in a while on our blog about my nephew, Tyler. Many of you keep up with their blog, www.tomandjennbates.blogspot.com, or have emailed or asked me about him. But, for those of you who don't know, Tyler was diagnosed with a brain tumor last March and has been undergoing major chemo at St. Jude in Memphis. He is now home and is doing soooo well! He is such a brave little guy. It is a MIRACLE from the Lord. Nothing less.

Please continue to pray for him as he is doing several more months of oral chemo at Cook Children's Hospital. Pray that he would remain healthy and pray for strength and endurance for Tom and Jenn as they care for Tyler and his brothers, Blake, Carter & Grant!

Tim videoed some footage of Matthew and Caleb's first time to see Tyler and they were so excited. The three amigos played together all morning at the TCU tailgate. They threw the football, stacked rocks, ran around and did all things "little boys" do!

One of my favorite lines in the movie is from Tyler who said " Did they (referring to Matthew and Caleb) start talking?" It is so cute. He hadn't seen them for over 7 months and wasn't used to them being such little chatter boxes!!! Tyler's snake impression is pretty funny, too. Matthew and Caleb sure are happy to have their cousin back. Tim and I sure are, too. For seeing Tyler is a sweet reminder of God's glory and power. Nothing less.

Music to my ears...

I don't think there is anything sweeter than the joy of brothers. We have seen with our boys that they never laugh as hard with anyone else as they do with each other. It is the sweetest thing!
