Visit from Papa....

We had an adventuresome day with Papa! This is how it went down:

First, we played with our new birthday tricyles with Papa...

Second, we loaded up and went to Cool Cuts for haircuts. The boys had major meltdowns during their haircuts, but seemed to do better as the cuts went on...While there, the lady who cut the boys' hair, after being informed that Matthew and Caleb had the same birthday, asked how many years they were apart. When informed that they were twins she said, "Really? So they have the same birthday?" hmmm.....

Thirdly, we headed to McDonalds for our first Happy Meals. Whilst at McDonalds, Matthew climbed into the slide (that's for 4 year olds and above) and refused to come down. Mommy had to crawl all the way to the top to get him. As she was crawling up the slide, a "know it all" 7 year old girl informed her that she was "too big" to be playing on the slide.

Fourth of all, we started chanting "Papa, Papa" when we saw this picture of the man who donated money for the McDonalds play area...we thought it was our great grand papa because he also has white hair...

Fifth, we took baths to clean off all the ketchup that we smeared all over us and then jumped in Papa's lap to watch the Rangers...

Sixth, we went to bed and Mommy and Papa did, too!!!!
