Visits from Grauntie & Gruncle...Grandma and Papa...

First of all, let me clarify something...for some reason, we have no pictures of Matthew or Papa from this weekend so we will have to make up for it on another post. I know you all count and make sure Matthew and Caleb share equal time on the blog posts so I don't want to hear any complaining! I assure you I am an equal opportunity mama...:)

We enjoyed the company of my Aunt Nelda and Uncle Steve a few weeks ago as they made their way through Texas on their RV trip. They were so helpful with the boys and loved spending time with them. My Mom and Dad also came down for the weekend to see the twinkers. They never miss a chance to get some smooches in and love on these boys.

My dad (Papa) might be in big trouble though. He played this game with Caleb where he would put a pacifier in his mouth and then Caleb would take it from him and Dad would laugh. Caleb LOVED it and laughed out loud every time. Well, now Caleb has started playing that game with Chooch...the only difference is, Chooch doesn't think it's very funny when Caleb takes his pacifier!!! Caleb is hanging out with Momma in her closet while she organizes laundry...He loves my flip flops and always goes for those first when he is in the closet!

Caleb and Gruncle Steve hanging out having guy time...

The boys' love their rubber ducky bath tub. Caleb LOVES to splash Chooch. My mom bought them these light up rubber duckies with Santa Hats and they love to play with those in the tub. The boys taking a bath together has made bath time SO much easier since we just put them both in and call it good!

Caleb and Grandma playing around with Grandma's wax lips...

Caleb really wants to eat Grauntie Nelda's treat and relentlessly kept reaching for it!

Red Raider Land...

We took a wonderful trip mid February to Lubbock, Texas to my old stompin' grounds. It was so much fun to visit my brother, Casey (who is a sophomore at Tech majoring in landscape architecture), and our friends the Percifields, who used to live in Fort Worth and go to church with us. The Percifields just moved to Lubbock this summer where Steve is a RUF campus minister at Texas Tech.
We went to campus and drove by my old dorm (Stangel-Murdough), the football stadium, my old apartment on 4th street and university, the health science center where I studied speech therapy, the student union building, the Pi Phi house, and ate at Double Dave's pizza (one of my favorites in college).
It was so much fun and brought back so many memories from school, where I met dear friends for life and had so much fun. After being in Lubbock, it really made me miss my friends and living in a college town. But, I must say...I don't miss the smell...or the wind! This is Caleb playing with Ella, who is the youngest of the 4 Percifield children.

Holt and Connor are entertaining Matthew!

This is the seal in front of campus where we all posed for a pic. The boys LOVED Tech...I see red and black in their future!

REAL Red Raiders only...:)

Twice the Fun!

Cute pics below of the boys playing in the living room before church... Chooch always has time to pose for the camera...He is so ornery, but when he looks at you with those big brown eyes, your heart just melts. :)

Cabers on the move!

The boys love rolling around together. We can put them on opposite ends of the room with their toys, but they always end up together. It's super fun to watch! However, they have started stealing one another's toys. Caleb doesn't care if Matthew takes his toy, but when it's the other way around, Matthew gives the biggest pucker face and then starts to scream!!!

Happy Belated Valentine's Day!!!

Hugs and kisses to all!!!
I was trying to be creative and take some fun Valentine's Day pictures of the boys for their grandparents. However, the boys would not cooperate so I had to bring in the reserves (Dad) to help out. We finally got a few cute shots so I thought I would share them with you all.
I thought this was the cutest of all!

The boys wanted to eat the cards instead of pose with them. Who can blame 'em?!

Daddy gets involved to try to help the boys stay focused. I don't think you can use focused and 8 month old twins in the same sentence!

Sneaky Chooch...

The boys' room is right off of our kitchen. A lot of times, I will put some toys down in their room while I start dinner and just check on them frequently. The other day, I promise I was gone for 20 seconds and I come back in to check on them. I found Caleb sitting up with his train, but Chooch was no where to be found. My heart sunk into my stomach, but before I could really freak out I heard a noise from underneath the crib. Chooch was in the far corner just hanging out...when I looked at him, he just grinned at me...two words...DOUBLE TROUBLE!
Guilty as charged!!!

Just hanging out...:)
