A Sweet Easter...

This is a pic of the boys with Brett and Amanda...(Amanda is Jennifer's sister and Brett is her husband :))

Grandma and Matthew at lunch...

Caleb is staring down Matthew's toy...:)

Matthew loves the bunny while Tyler and Caleb are not very interested in smiling for the camera...

Our first Easter together with the boys...

Caleb was given "play" candy cigarettes in his Easter basket by his GranMary or Mere-Mere is her new name I think...anyway, Caleb looked way too natural with that cigarette! Mom yanked it away very quickly...ha..ha...

Caleb nibbling on a bagel at lunch...it is so nice now that they eat "table" food for the most part. It makes our dining out experiences so much easier!

College of choice...

I can't believe I am reporting this on the blog, but I guess it's only fair. We put a TCU Horned Frog and a Texas Tech Red Raider in front of Matthew to see which one he would choose. The bad news is he chose the Horned Frog. So, we did it again to see if it was a fluke. It wasn't...even worse news, he chose the Horned Frog a SECOND time. So, then we tried Caleb and he went for that darn frog, too. I am going to have to do some serious persuasion to push Tech in this family, OBVIOUSLY!

Mr. Cool Caleb...

"The name's Chooch..."

Okay, this might be my favorite pic of Choochie so far...:) I know I am partial, but those eyes!!! He is SUCH a ladies man!

Sea Island Trip 2009...so much fun!!!

We went with Tim's parents to Sea Island in Georgia for the first time ever. The place was absolutely beautiful and it is very family oriented which made our vacation time relaxing and wonderful. The boys got in the pool and got to see the beach for the first time! Tim and I got to go on a really fun afternoon bike ride through the island and even had a date at the spa, which was wonderful! The boys adapted really well to being away from home and both did fabulous on the plane rides there and back. People just CRINGE when they see us coming onto the plane and everyone is very quick to swap seats to get away from 2 babies...but, the boys were troopers and did great! Matthew and GranMary just chillin...

Timily got to go out for a really fun bike ride all over Sea Island, twinkie free!

This was our view of the beach and the pool...it was absolutely beautiful to wake up to!

Mommy and Caleb and Matthew after a fun day at the pool!

Caleb was zonked after time in the water!

Matthew was very cautious of those UV rays and wore his sunglasses AND a hat to keep himself protected!

It is AMAZING how the sun and water wear kids out! This will be the key to victory this summer!

Matthew and Granpappy in the water...

GranMary is feeding Chooch his bottle...notice the sunglasses are still on! It was a BATTLE to take them off. The kid LOVED them!

This is a pic of our family in the pool with the twinkies for the FIRST TIME EVER! It was so much fun!

Momma and Matthew after a long day in the sun!

All four boys hanging out during lunch time!

GranMary and Caleb playing games!

Granpappy couldn't get enough of Choochie's kisses!!!

Spring Break

We spent a few days in Henrietta on Papa and Grandma's spring break and had lots of fun! This is Matthew with Grandma, Caleb with Mrs. Graves (Emily's Jr. English teacher) and Mrs. Morris (aka Mama Ju, who was Emily's geometry teacher and cheerleader sponsor).

Papa got the boys some Texas ballcaps when he went to Austin.

This is Matthew with Mama Ju. You can tell he is having way too much fun!

Caleb loved this little plastic baseball bat that rattled. He got a little rambunctious and decided to pop Papa in the face!

Grandma with Caleb and Uncle Casey with Matthew; They were on nighttime bottle duty.

Caleb getting snuggles from Grandma...

Uncle Casey playing games with Cabers...

Matthew giving his Momma that puppy dog look...

First trip to the zoo...

The boys and I took our first trip to the zoo with some friends a few weeks ago. It was really fun and the boys loved being outside strolling around. They are too young to really appreciate the animals, but they still seemed to really enjoy it.

Momma and her boys taking a little break!
The best part is that they konked out at the end of the morning and took the best nap!

Bates Hair

This is Tim checking in here for a quick update on the current state of our children's hair and their attitude. Emily will provide a more detailed post of a recent trip we went on with our parents, but I thought it pertinent to post these pictures immediately due to how incredibly funny I thought they were.

Look at Mr. Cool here with the shades on and his "I just got out of my "hot wheels" convertible" hair.

This is how Matthew was taking his bottles on the trip!!

I think Caleb must be wiping the hair gel off his hands because there is no way that his hair could do that naturally.

I think Matthew is primed and ready to take over Glendarroch Homes. He brings new meaning to the phrase "business casual" with a full suit on and Joe Cool sunglasses that he wears indoors.
