My children have been brain-washed by their father...

Well, it's official---the twins love TCU football. They love it so much that they requested to go to the TCU field on a weekend when there was no home game. So, we headed up to the field and ran around and they had the best time ever. AND, the boys took a super long nap when we got home that day after running around so much. That is always good for me!!!
Mommy & Luke...
Matthew telling me about how fast he can run!
Caleb with a big grin on his face!
We walked all through campus and made a stop at this fountain. The boys are always mesmerized by it!
So sweet...
We don't have football helmets for the boys, so we "pretend" lots of other things are helmets!

Sweet Daddy Time...

Dad with his buddies on a walk...
Daddy and Luke on the couch...
Yes, that's a diaper on Luke's head...don't ask!!!

Below are several video clips from a breakfast we had as a family the first time that Luke ate solids! There are some sweet clips, but I wanted to give you a little history before you watch it.

The clip begins with the boys cheering Luke on to take his first bite. Then, we transition into sports talk (imagine that!). They chant some "TCU, Go Frogs" cheers as well as "get your guns up!" for Texas Tech. Then, they demonstrate the "claw and antlers" which if you are a Ranger fan I am told you will know what they are doing. They learned that from their Papa!

Lastly, Matthew and Caleb asked me if they could ride the choo choo train (they always ask about the one by the zoo). As they were asking, Matthew asked if our dear friends, the Davis' clan, who are like family, could come ride the train, too. It then evolved into Matthew naming all the Davis family members that he loves. The boys ask about them a lot (they moved to Indiana a year and a half ago) and always ask if they are coming on adventures with us. It is really sweet but kinda hard because we miss them so!

Pioneer Reunion 2010

Most of you who follow our blog know that I'm from Henrietta, Texas. Well, every year our town has a huge parade and rodeo called "Pioneer Reunion." It is super fun and I've never missed a year since moving to Henrietta at age 2. It has been such a joy for me to bring the boys back to something that I have so many great memories of growing up. They absolutely loved it this year. Here are some fun pics!
Thanks to the Graves family, we had two turtles to enter this year in the turtle race for the boys. This was Mimi, Papa, Nelda, Caleb & Luke gearing up for the big race!
Aunt Nelda & Luke are enjoying the parade beside Mimi and Caleb!
I was trying to photo shop Matthew's red eye out of this picture and this was the result. It is too cute of a picture not to put on here, though. Tim is going to give me such harassment (for posting a picture with matthew having a black eye and for not being able to figure out how to get rid of it!) for this! By the way, if anyone who has a mac knows how to edit these pictures back to their original form please tell me!
It was also my 10 year class reunion. We got together at the Fitts' barn and it was a blast!
Luke loved being outside for the parade!!!
This is a picture of Mommy with her big boys at the BEARCAT football game!!!

This is Caleb with Miss Claire...sooo cute!
I absolutely love this picture of Caleb. The announcer at the football game said we were going to have a "moment of silence" and so I told the boys to be still and quiet so we could pray for the football players and that was Caleb's response. Sooo sweet.
Papa pushing the twinkers!
This was one of our turtles...kinda gross, I know. This comes with the territory of being a boy "mom." I couldn't touch the turtle. Thankfully, Papa and Mimi were around to help with that!
Luke is sitting tight during the turtle race....
Here was some of our competition...Matthew's turtle won 2nd in his heat, but choked in the finals. My dad called the turtles "losers" on the way home..ha..ha... We are such a competitive family!
Caleb is checking it all out!
Matthew and his cute horsey hat!

Fall Fun!!!

We have had lots of fall fun the last month! We had a special visit from Grauntie Nelda and Gruncle Steve which included fun food, fun walks outside, reading and playing, riding a choo choo train, a TCU football game, craft time, and the Pioneer Reunion Parade (couldn't fit the Pioneer Reunion pics in this post; look for it coming soon!). We love you guys and thanks for spending so much time with us and loving on us and the boys!!! See pics from all of our adventures below:
Uncle Steve and Luke riding on the train together...
Mr. Luke is sucking on those fingers!

Grauntie Nelda loves to play on the floor with the boys...they had all their "little people" animals out and were telling Nelda about each of them!
Papa came along with us on the train at Forest Park which has become a crowd favorite in our house!
Sweet Chooch eating popcorn at the trainstop.

Loving these boys!!!

Luke and Caleb are playing on the floor. OH my goodness, I just noticed this. Look what Luke's left hand is doing. Tim, you work fast! (For those of you who have no idea, it is the TCU Horned Frog sign...)
Whenever I put Luke on the floor, I set up extra mats because his brothers INSIST on joining him. Luke loves it though!
Sweet boy!
Howdy partners! The boys were being mommy's helpers by sweeping the stairs.
My handsome Chooch!
Caleb has his serious cowboy face on...
Hmmm....wonder how that fireman hat ended up on Luke's head?!
This is Caleb after "shaving" time with Daddy.

We love Papa Time!!!

Well, here are a few pics from when Papa (Tim's grandpa) came to stay with us. We all had so much fun and always love our visits from him!
Here is Papa in the only apron we had at our house! He made his french toast, of course!!!
Papa on triple duty...!
Here is Caleb playing at his cousins' house...he LOVED their guitar!
Carter was all about his Uncle Tim that night...pretty cute!
Sweet Mr. Blake is up to something!
Matthew and Grant playing catch....
Carter kept bouncing the ball on Tim's head and would giggle every single time!
