Most of you who follow our blog know that I'm from Henrietta, Texas. Well, every year our town has a huge parade and rodeo called "Pioneer Reunion." It is super fun and I've never missed a year since moving to Henrietta at age 2. It has been such a joy for me to bring the boys back to something that I have so many great memories of growing up. They absolutely loved it this year. Here are some fun pics!

Thanks to the Graves family, we had two turtles to enter this year in the turtle race for the boys. This was Mimi, Papa, Nelda, Caleb & Luke gearing up for the big race!

Aunt Nelda & Luke are enjoying the parade beside Mimi and Caleb!

I was trying to photo shop Matthew's red eye out of this picture and this was the result. It is too cute of a picture not to put on here, though. Tim is going to give me such harassment (for posting a picture with matthew having a black eye and for not being able to figure out how to get rid of it!) for this! By the way, if anyone who has a mac knows how to edit these pictures back to their original form please tell me!

It was also my 10 year class reunion. We got together at the Fitts' barn and it was a blast!

Luke loved being outside for the parade!!!

This is a picture of Mommy with her big boys at the BEARCAT football game!!!

This is Caleb with Miss Claire...sooo cute!

I absolutely love this picture of Caleb. The announcer at the football game said we were going to have a "moment of silence" and so I told the boys to be still and quiet so we could pray for the football players and that was Caleb's response. Sooo sweet.

Papa pushing the twinkers!

This was one of our turtles...kinda gross, I know. This comes with the territory of being a boy "mom." I couldn't touch the turtle. Thankfully, Papa and Mimi were around to help with that!

Luke is sitting tight during the turtle race....

Here was some of our competition...Matthew's turtle won 2nd in his heat, but choked in the finals. My dad called the turtles "losers" on the way home..ha..ha... We are such a competitive family!

Caleb is checking it all out!

Matthew and his cute horsey hat!
